Ministries

Teknotropheo Mission Center served as Healing Ministry Center on January 31, 2014 when we conducted free medical and dental services to both Mangyan and Tagalog people. A volunteer doctor and former Board Chairman of Teknotropheo Missions, Dr. Armand Lim, led the medical mission with his son, and friends- two dentists who came from Manila; also with Teknotropheo Board of Director , Sam with his son joined them. We invited also two local doctors from Mamburao to join.

home-4cDuring that day, January 31, 2014, the boat was cancelled at the time the volunteers were supposed to ride. However, they managed to still come to Teknotropheo by taking the boat to Puerto Galera and rented another boat there to be able to come to Abra de Ilog. Thank God they still arrived just on time! They volunteered their services, their time, and their money to performed a healing ministry. We were able to evangelize and give healing to sixty five people in the span of two hours.

Tekno kids joyfully participated in this healing ministry: Jessa and Rhea acted as in charge of registering patients; Rocky and Michael assisted the dentists; Maryjoy assisted a Doctor; Meraly acted as the camerawoman; Esmart and Artmel took charge of ordering the patients who line up; Margie, Esmael and Able assisted in cooking the food of the volunteers. Leny was unable to assist because she’s one of the dental patients. All of them felt happy to experience serving the people in need. It was indeed a great privileged for them to be part of God’s servants during medical-dental mission.

Ethel, as pharmacist shared, “I am glad Cris entrusted to me the role as pharmacist. I was able to give medicine to the sick people…I felt much joy in serving the Lord.”

Our Vision...

The word Teknotropheo represents our vision which is “to bring up our nation’s poorest children to total development”. For us, ’total development’, includes the following aspects of life – the physical, social, intellectual and most of all spiritual. We would like to develop them and surpass their vulnerable state and eventually be able to sustain themselves and help others too.
We envision them to be future Christian leaders.

Who we are…

“Teknotropheo” is a Greek word which means “to bring up children”. The name “teknotropheo” is a word that sums up our vision. It is our desire to reach out to poorest children in the remote rural communities through partnering with other charitable organizations and evangelical churches.

We are a non-profit organization with an objective to provide help and assistance to poor and needy children in rural communities of Mindoro Island, Philippines. We do this through implementing holistic programs on spiritual, physical, socio-economic, intellectual and other areas as needed.
